There are a few ways to enjoy honey comb:
Eat it by itself!
Simply pop it into your mouth and chew.
You can either swallow the wax or disgard after the flavour disappears.
Edible wax: The waxy cell walls are 100% natural and safe to consume.
Chewing gum style: Many people chew the wax to extract the sweet raw honey, then spit out the remaining flavorless wax once the sweetness is gone, though swallowing it in small amounts is entirely harmless.
Spread on toast
Place a piece over warm buttered toast, biscuits, or scones so the honey melts.
Pair with cheese
Serve it on a charcuterie board alongside soft cheeses like brie, camembert, or ricotta.
Use as a topping
Pair it with vanilla ice cream, yogurt, oatmeal, or pancakes.
Stirred into hot drinks
Drop a small piece into hot tea to let the honey dissolve and the wax soften.
