Frames are used in a beehive to make and store honey. As well as give the queen a place to lay.
Best fitted with wax foundation, to give bees a head start in production.
They are vital to every hive.
This frame fits Manley wax foundation only.
How to assemble frame:
Get your pieces together.
Apply PVA wood glue to top of side bars.
Take top bar of frame and fit inside the top of the side bars. Push down and fit tightly.
Now apply glue to bottom of the side bars and fir the bottom bar into the bottom of the side bars. Push down and fit tightly.
After gluing, you can either staple or use nails to secure the frame.
Apply to the tops and bottoms where the sides meet.
Also cross staple (if using staples) on both sides.
Your frame is now ready to be wired.
Once frame is complete with wire and wax, place inside hive.
