Frames are used in a beehive to make and store honey.
Best fitted with plastic insert dipped with wax, to give bees a head start in honey production.
They are vital to every hive.
This frame fits Full Depth inserts only.
How to assemble frame:
Get your pieces together.
Apply PVA wood glue to top of side bars.
Take top bar of frame and fit inside the top of the side bars. Push down and fit tightly.
Now apply glue to bottom of the side bars and fir the bottom bar into the bottom of the side bars. Push down and fit tightly.
After gluing, you can either staple or use nails to secure the frame.
Apply to the tops and bottoms where the sides meet.
Also cross staple (if using staples) on both sides.
Your frame is now ready to have the insert placed in.
Once frame is complete with insert, place inside hive.
