Australian Native Bees

If you are looking to pollinate your garden or to do your part for the environment, native bees are the way to go! Australian native bees are stingless and very helpful in pollinating trees and gardens. Because they are so small, they are able to get into the smaller flowers. As the European bees aren't able to. There are 3 common types of native bees that people keep which are; Carbonaria, Hockingsi and Australis. Native bees only produce up to 1kg of honey a year. As a result it is up to the individual if they choose to harvest the honey. To get set up with native bees is really easy. Start with a hive with bees already in it, as putting an empty box to attract the bees most likely only attract wasps.
We hope to have native bees for sale in this upcoming season.
