This tool is used for cleaning the queen excluders. It is important to keep you excluder as clean as possible, it may be clogged up with wax and propolis. If it is not clean, the workers won’t be able to get through the excluder. This means there is less movement in the hive.
scrape bigger bits off with hive tool first.
The tool fits the slots on the excluder.
Slide the tool down the slots to remove excess wax and propolis.
To be used on metal excluders only.
