Using a clearer board is a less invasive way to remove your honey for your bee hive.
You do not have to upset the bees by brushing the bees off individual frames.
This is the best way to take a box of honey off without bees inside.
USING AS A CLEARER BOARD:
Leave the clearer board on over night for best results. Keep the divider entrance closed.
The bees will then go into the box below and will not be able to get back up due to the one way exit.
The key to remember is if you are taking a box off you must put a box on underneath, so when the bees pass through the one way entrance they have room below.
USING AS A DIVIDER BOARD:
Using as a double brood box, open the entrance of the divider board.
Place onto the hive. The bees ca go down into the bottom, but cannot come back into the top unless they go through the entrance.
