This device fits over the entrance of the hive.
Bees come back from foraging and are forced to crawl through the small opening on the trap in order to enter the hive.
As a result the holes are so small that the pollen is stripped off the bees’ legs.
The pollen then falls into a tray for collection.
Attach pollen trap to the front of the hive.
Check try once a week to see if the bees are bringing in pollen.
If so, take pollen away and place the tray back in empty.
Detach when not wanting to use.
Please note that this fits 10 frame hives only.
