Lifting cleats are used to help lift boxes easier. Provides better grip.
Also gives opportunity for beekeeping loaders to lift boxes and do the heavy lifting for you.
Line up 1 lifting cleat to the side of the box with the entrance.
Place in the middle.
Pre-drill with 1/8th drill bit to prevent splitting the wood
Do the same on the opposite side of the box with the other lifting cleat.
You have now attached lifting cleats to your box.
2 pieces of timber:
2 lifting cleats to fit a full depth box, 10 or 8 frame.
