Small Hive Beetle is a deadly pest for european honey bees.
It is important to keep their numbers under control all year round.
This beetle trap is made of durable plastic and designed to be reused.
Apply bait to the middle of the trap. ( we recommend Maxforce Gold Gel)
It is recommended to smear the bait so that way the beetle will die when coming in contact with it.
(make sure there is no poison present on the outside of the trap.)
Close the trap and place into the hive at bottom, underneath the frames.
Check your trap every time you do a brood inspection to unclog and clean if necessary.
Replenish your trap with bait every 3 months.
